We successfully launched our first ever g4g@work event at the world's leading industrial automation company, Rockwell Automation!!
50 girls aged 9-15 had the opportunity to spend a hands-on afternoon at Rockwell Automation EMEA headquarters in Belgium, discovering how science and technology link to our everyday lives!! They got to experience 3 interactive workshops related to STEM, electronics, and coding while engaging with inspiring role-model professionals!

What? We welcome 50 girls aged 11-15 to a g4g@work event with Rockwell Automation for an afternoon of interactive, hands-on, unbelievable fun in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics!
How? We invite role model professionals to lead 45 minute workshops that show the link to STEM and highlight the technology that Rockwell is known for, with 15 - 18 girls per workshop. Girls will have a chance to experience 3 workshops throughout the afternoon and snacks will be provided!

Melissa Rancourt, Chairman & Founder. Melissa is an engineer herself and loves the Big Bang TV show. So much so that she does a workshop based on it which has proved to be one of the favourites of the girls. Melissa is a true science geek and doesn't mind who knows this!

From global communications & event coordinating, she manages various g4g internal projects, creates science workshops, supervises our lovely young interns and ambassadors and loves to lead the DNA workshop across the globe!
