What happens when you put tools and knowledge in the hands of young girls?
With "laser sharp" dedication to inspiring & encouraging the next generation of STEM leaders, our partnership with Stanley Black & Decker & their Women's Network Chapters is making waves! We began with one incredible g4g Day @Brussels in November 2016, and now, we've collaborated together at events in Sevilla, Madrid, Moscow, Bangalore, Brussels, and Towson, MD, USA... with more to come.
Together, we link STEM to the innovative technology and tool solutions engineered by Stanley Black and Decker, especially with fun & engaging workshops on geometrics, lasers, mathematics, and physics!

g4g in the community at Towson, USA - Nov. 2019
In November, we were thrilled to be back for our annual g4g in the community in Towson, USA with Stanley Black & Decker. For the third annual SBD's International Girls Day event, we had the chance to meeting employee children for a morning of STEM discovery. Our most popular activity? Robots, of course!
g4g Day @Silverstone, UK - Oct. 2019
In October, 50 girls came to our first g4g Day @Silverstone UTC! After inspiring meetings with women role models, girls took part in hands-on workshops exploring subjects such as chemistry, robotics and welding with chocolate! Everyone also enjoyed an exciting visit to the Envision Virgin Racing Formula E Garage, where girls experienced ‘a day in the life of racing’ and discovered how technicians and engineers work behind the scenes! g4g @work in Dardilly, France - Oct. 2019
In October we had a blast together with 30 girls and boys for our first g4g @work in Dardilly! Together, we dived into electronics when we built our own circuits, explored electrical engineering and mechatronics while designing our own scribblebots, and got caught into biology and chemistry by making our own bath bombs. In the afternoon, the kids had the opportunity to explore the SBD activities in France while visiting the SBD warehouse! Check out our Facebook Album here!
g4g Day @Gothenburg, Sweden - Sept. 2019
In September, we headed to Sweden, for our first ever g4g @work in Gothenburg with 40 girls! We had invited 40 young girls to join us. Using the SBD tools, these girls built bird houses for their friendly neighborhood birds, learnt all about polymer chemistry, saw how we can sweeten math with chocolate, and discovered all the fun behind clue hunting with endoscope cameras and lasers and more. g4g @work in New Britain, USA - Sept. 2019
In September, we headed to New Britain, USA, for a special event with SBD’s Women’s Network and their Leadership program. 60 girls joined us for an evening dedicated to science fun and mentorship. Assisted by the 150 young energetic leaders from the SBD program, they experienced the “Stanley x Science Funlab”, built bristlebot, became codebreakers, discovered polymer worms workshops, and got to build with SBD tools!
g4g @work in Tessenderlo, Belgium - Sept. 2019
In September, we were thrilled to host our second g4g @work in Tessenderlo, Belgium! 50 girls and boys joined us, and together, we dived into STEM fun! We were Geocaching in the warehouse, putting on our measuring hats, while trolley racing against centrifugal powers, we gathered and balanced key materials till the finish line (and we explored hidden clues in the box tower, with endoscope cameras!), we got ‘egg-cited’ about engineering in the egg drop challenge, and we got fizzing to discover the beauty of science, making our own bath bombs & lip balm ! g4g Day @Pune, India - July 2019
In July, we were in India to meet up with 58 wonderful and curious girls for our first g4g @work in Pune, India! Girls from the local communities joined us to explore electrical engineering, robotics, engineering design, and had fun using the SBD tools. Our goal? g4g @work in New Britain, USA - July 2019
In july, we headed out to the US for our first g4g @work in New Britain. "What are the secrets of innovation? What are your biggest and wildest dreams?" These were some of the questions posed by Stanley Black & Decker’s first CTO, Dr Mark Maybury, as he welcomed 46 curious girls to our g4g event. The girls then learned how to code, explored statistics with M&Ms, engineered their own robot, created chemical reactions and even learned that listening, exploring, and collaborating are some of the secrets of innovators. g4g @work in Monvalle, Italy - June 2019
In June, we were thrilled to host our first g4g @work in Monvalle, Italy, where 25 girls and boys aged 8-14 joined us for an afternoon of science fun! After personalizing their Stanley Black & Decker labcoats, the kids then had the opportunity to build their own drawing robots, make explosive bath bombs, construct toolboxes with Stanley Black & Decker tools, have fun with snap circuits, as well as enjoying a visit to the warehouse and learning how SBD kits were made. Girls Day & Boys Day in Idstein, Germany - Mar. 2019
In March, you could find us in Idstein, Germany as we participated in the 9th year of Stanley Black and Decker’s Girls Day and Boys Day celebration at their premises. Stanley Black & Decker welcomed a special group of 18 girls and boys aged 11 to 13 for a unique morning of exploring science, technology, electrical engineering, business design, as well as being inspired by SBD role-models in these fields. And, of course, everyone went home with their own DNA necklace, g4g style!
g4g @work in Damparis - Dec. 2018
In December, we hosted our first g4g @work in Damparis, France! 30 kids got the opportunity to explore fun, interactive workshops. They unlocked their creativity while making their own sculptures using chocolate, they were amazed when they managed to extract their own DNA, they enjoyed learning about circuitry while building their own drawing robots, and they had lots of fun testing both their own strength… and that of the SBD tools! g4g Day @Khimki-Moscow - Nov. 2018
In November, we were thrilled to launch our g4g Day @Khimki, Moscow! 60 passionate girls came to one of the local schools in Moscow to experiment STEM in all its forms. From chemistry with bath bomb, to electrical engineering, to building frames and decorating them with SBD tools, the girls, helped by 15 wonderful volunteers spent a brilliant afternoon! g4g in the community in Towson, USA - Nov. 2018
In November, we headed out to Towson, USA for a new g4g in the community for the 2nd annual International Girls Day at SBD’s HQ in Maryland. 60 girls came and explored all the fun in STEM, they built bristlebots able to draw, extracted their DNA to put it in a necklace, or event, discovered the secrets behind slime! g4g @work in Tessenderlo - Sept. 2018
In September we hosted our first g4g@work in Tessenderlo, Belgium. 35 enthusiastic and excited kids were ready to see and use the SBD tools & equipment. On the menu today was yummy polymer worms made of honey, ketchup and berries (and yes, some decided to mix all three flavours into one!).
