g4g it's a living, breathing, ever-evolving community of people who showed up one day because they believed that girls deserve to fall in love with science. Some of the people on our team are pop stars, some are teachers, some are even astronauts; what we all have in common is our shared mission of encouraging girls to realize they can be anything, they can do anything.

These are the people who, on any given day, might be planning an event in three twelve time zones, or figuring out how to make a chemistry experiment work with the most amout of magic possible. From our founder and CEO to the board members and collaborators who shape the big decisions, this group is the beating heart of g4g at this moment in time.

She'll tell you anything is possible, then prove it before you've finished doubting her. Part engineer, part storyteller, part strategic designer, full-time wearer of many hats! Melissa has spoken at TED, the UN, and Bloomberg; she's been named one of Europe's Top 100 Women in Social Enterprise; and she still shows up to every g4g event with the energy of someone who just discovered science for the first time.

These people are orbiting our universe…
Some of the most incredible contributions to g4g have come from people who dip in, spark something brilliant, and then go back to another adventure…only to show up again exactly when you need them. These are our cosmic collaborators: the country leads and volunteer champions who might be heads-down on something else this season, but who are always, always part of the our universe. g4g has this funny effect on people: once it gets you, it tends to keep you. You'll find this crew at events, in our inboxes, and cheering us on from every corner of the planet.

As the best scientists do, they take what they've discovered here with us and go apply it somewhere new. These are our alumni: the interns who went on to become engineers and changemakers, the team members who moved cities and changed careers- we’re mean starting companies now! They are our g4g alumni who are now out in the wild, still carrying a little bit of our green and pink spark with them. Once g4g, always g4g. That's just how the experiment works!
