What does it take to create one unforgettable g4g moment?

Every moonshot starts with a wild question. Such as this famous one, "What if we went to the Moon?" It sounded crazy, and nobody knew how to do it. But it happened.

Now, g4g isn't planning a STEM workshop on the Moon... just yet! But we do ask wild questions. What if learning was different? What if we change the perception of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics subjects and careers? What if we could make a difference to one person, and that led to impacting so many more? Every "what if" has taken us a little further.

So here's our biggest one yet: What if we inspired thousands of girls and young women around the world to study STEM?

That is our moonshot. Our goal is to inspire and reach 100,000 girls around the world.

Getting there means dreaming beyond what we do today, taking our best ideas off the screen and into the real world, and bringing more people along for the ride. Here are the moonshots that could get us there.

What if…the g4g Lab was a real laboratory in every city?

The g4g Lab is our virtual world of discovery, where explorers make bio-plastic, build solar-powered cars and meet inspiring scientists. What if it had real doors, real benches and real goggles? It would be a place to come back to again and again, to experiment, get it wrong, try again, and get it STEMtastically right.

What if…our transportation portal was real?

Our transportation portal already takes STEM explorers on adventures from wherever they are. Now imagine walking through it for real, into a space where girls gather, experiment side by side and learn without a screen or a map in the way. One in every city? Now that's a moonshot!

What if…your lab coat was more than just your learning journal?

At every g4g Day, lab coats end up covered in signatures, doodles and notes from new friends. What if they kept going? Picture a lab coat that collects every experiment, question and "aha!" moment, and grows with you from one adventure to the next.
