A few curious questions? Definitely. Some peculiar science materials? Almost always. A room full of girls ready to roll up their sleeves and experiment? Absolutely.
But behind every g4g event is something even bigger: an entire ecosystem working together to make it possible.
Teachers build excitement before we arrive. Schools help us bring the right experiences to the right age groups. Families encourage girls to take that first brave step into something new. Communities help each g4g experience feel local, relevant and welcoming.
They may not all fit neatly under the title of partner, volunteer or team member, but their fingerprints can be found across everything we do.
This is the g4g ecosystem: the people, places and connections that help us turn curiosity into confidence—and show girls everywhere that Anything is Possible.
The teachers who keep curiosity alive
Before the first experiment begins, teachers are already helping us create the spark.
By collaborating with g4g, teachers help us understand who their students are, what excites them and what might make STEM feel more accessible to them. They identify the girls who would benefit from the experience, build enthusiasm in the classroom and help students arrive ready to ask questions, try something unfamiliar and get involved.
Their involvement means that a g4g workshop does not simply end when the materials are packed away. The questions, conversations and new confidence can travel straight back into the classroom.
Together, we do more than introduce girls to STEM. We help them become excited to discover what they can do with it.
The schools that open their doors
Every great experiment needs the right environment, and schools help us create it.
When a school collaborates with g4g, it gives us the opportunity to connect directly with girls at an important stage in their learning journey. Schools help us reach specific age groups, understand the needs of their students and design experiences that feel appropriate, engaging and relevant.
For some girls, a g4g experience hosted through their school may be their first opportunity to meet a STEM role model, build something with their own hands or see science outside the pages of a textbook.
By making space for g4g, schools make space for girls to experiment, collaborate and imagine themselves in futures they may never have considered before.
The communities that make every event their own
We may arrive with boxes of experiments and plenty of ideas, but every community brings its own magic to g4g.
Local educators, organisations, families and community members help us understand the girls we are hoping to reach. They introduce us to local realities, connect us with the right people and help us shape activities around the interests, cultures and needs of each location.
This local knowledge allows g4g to go beyond simply recreating the same event in a different city. Together, we build experiences that belong to the community hosting them.They spread the word, encourage participation and create a welcoming network around every event.
Our mission may travel across borders, but our impact is built one community at a time.
